CITIC Bank Awarded the “2010 Excellent Competitor in International Banking”

2010-12-07 17:31:00

China CITIC Bank (CNCB) was awarded the title of “2010 Excellent Competitor in International Banking” on November 24, 2010, for its advanced service philosophy, well-developed product system and talented team in the “2010 Selection of Excellent Competitors in the Financial Industry” organized by China Business Journal, a newspaper under the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS).

The event is aimed at choosing the most competitive banks, insurers and funds that operate in China. Their competitiveness is assessed by CASS’ competitiveness analysis model. And the selection committee consists of corporate leaders, business journalists and quite a number of experts, which ensures the authority and fairness of the selection process.

The “2010 Excellent Competitor in International Banking” award has attracted many banks to compete in this category. That CNCB has won this title shows its core competitiveness in international business has been well recognized by the industry and authorities. For years, CNCB has been consolidating its customer base, expanding the product line and building a strong team in a bid to take the largest market share, provide the most competitive products and establish the most influential brand. It also upholds the “3S” philosophy of rendering “specialist, speed and slim” forex service in transforming itself from a product seller to a financial service provider. Thanks to its strong customer base, complete product line and talented team, CNCB’s international business has witnessed leapfrog growth in recent years.

The award is a boost to CNCB’s confidence in sustaining the healthy development of its international business in the future.
